Bridges to Learning
Instructor: Ms. Coykendall
Welcome to Bridges to Learning Preschool.  We are so excited to have your children in our classroom.  We have 3 para-educators in our room in the morning with 11 students and 2 in the afternoon with 9 students.  We also have a speech therapist 2 days a week and an OT and a PT, who work with some of our students.  We use themes in our classroom that change every 2 weeks and we work on a specific letter/color/number/shape each week.  You will receive a weekly newsletter to let you know what we are working on and the activities that we will be using to learn the concepts.  If you ever have questions, feel free to call me any time.

Wheatlands Care Home
The AM and PM classes will be presenting a short program at Wheatlands on Thursday, October 29th.  We will sing some songs, demonstrate some fingerplays and then take some time to greet the residents of the care home.  Parents, friends, grandparents are invited to attend the program.  The AM class will present their program at 10:00 and the PM class will present their program at 1:30.  Make sure that you arrive early, because if we get to the care home early, we may start before the stated time.  When we return, we will have a short Halloween party.  Students may wear costumes for the program.  They can wear them to school or bring them and we will get them ready before we leave for wheatlands.
